Well, I'm currently sitting in a hotel on Route 66 in the town of Williams, Arizona. What I have noticed about every time I've been in the US is that Americans put loads of ice in their drinks. There is no restaurant, cafe, bar, whatever, where you don't get a cup full of ice with a bit of pop.
My question: Why?
I feel it's a big waste. I'm ordering pop, not some watered down variation of it. A little ice is alright, but a cup full is just too much.
